International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Accepting Nominations for Outsourcing Hall of Fame


POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., June 4, 2009 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has opened the nomination process for its Outsourcing Hall of Fame, the most prestigious award available to individuals working in the field of outsourcing.


The association will induct new members into the Hall of Fame at its upcoming 2009 European Outsourcing Summit, Oct. 15-16 in Copenhagen, Denmark; and the 2010 Outsourcing World Summit, Feb. 15-17 in Lake Buena Vista, Fl.


Now in its fourth year, the program is the highest professional recognition in the industry for contributions made to business and society. Nominations are now being accepted via an online nomination form until June 30.



Attending the Hall of Fame induction dinner at the 2009 Asia-Pacific Outsourcing Summit on May 12, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia were: (from left to right) David Wong, Chairman, Outsourcing Malaysia and PIKOM; inductee Yang Berhormat Senator Tan Sri Amirsham A. Aziz, former president and CEO, Maybank; Michael F. Corbett, chairman, IAOP; inductee Dr. Liu Jiren, chairman and CEO, Neusoft Corporation; and CJ Ang, president, PIKOM.


At its recent Asia-Pacific Outsourcing Summit, IAOP inducted into the hall Yang Berhormat Senator Tan Sri Amirsham A Aziz, former president and CEO of Maybank; and Dr. Liu Jiren,
chairman and CEO, Neusoft Corporation.


The Hall of Fame is unique in its recognition of individuals not only for their contributions to the management practice and industry of outsourcing, but also for their contributions to community-based economic development, socially-directed investments, as well as career development, education and training through outsourcing.
