Get Connected!

Networking with other delegates is one of the top reasons to attend the Summit. To help you get connected, we are introducing Message2Meet (M2M) at this year’s event. M2M provides a quick and secure permission-based networking tool that uses text messaging to facilitate introductions among on site delegates using their mobile phones, without publishing contact information.

Each delegate who opts in will receive a designated M2M code that will be used in place of their mobile number. These codes will be available on site in your program material.

To Contact a Delegate:

1.     Look at the delegate list to find the M2M code of the delegate you’d like to meet.

2.     Create a new text message on your phone. In the “Send to” field enter the M2M text messaging number (55744 for US & Canadian callers and +27 83 293 3274 for international callers). In the body of the textenter the M2M code of the delegate, along with anycomments(M2M code: WS100 and your message). Press “Send.” Your meeting request — name, company and message — will be sent to the delegate. You will receive a text confirmation that your message was successfully sent.

3.     If the delegate accepts, you will receive his/her name and mobile number in a reply text and permission to contact them.

To Respond to a Request:

1.     To reply YES, you must enter in the body of the text — “Yes” and the requester’s M2M code (Yes WS100) Press “Send.” Your name and mobile number will be sent to the requesting delegate. (Note: therequester’s code will be in the text you receive.)

2.     To reply NO, you must enter in the body of the text — “No” and the requester’s M2M code (No WS100) Press “Send.” The requesting delegate will be sent a message declining the request for your mobile number and they will not be able to send you any further messages.

3.     If you reply STOP then you will be removed from the system and will not receive any further requests.

*Messages may be sent at any time but will only be delivered between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm on the days of the conference.
