An initiative of IAOPs Advocacy & Outreach Committee developed in association with neoIT and DNL Global
Although the number of people working globally as Outsourcing Professionals now numbers in the tens of thousands, little has been done until now to map the skills, job profiles, career paths, organizational structures, and compensation levels for these new, highly sought-after professionals. At noon Eastern Time June 5th, IAOP released the Phase I findings of its multi-phase outsourcing career mapping initiative.

Opportunities for Pilot Diagnostics
ITSqc is soliciting candidate organizations (either Service Providers or Clients) interested in participating in a mini-self assessment or mini-evaluation of eSCM best practices. Participating organizations receive a detailed profile of their capabilities related to a set of Practices of interest to the organization (for one or two Capability Areas). The pilot experience is coordinated by ITSqc and we arrange for a team of qualified professionals, under NDA, to perform a baseline/initial diagnostic of an organization's sourcing capabilities. Costs of the pilot are modest (covering travel expenses of the team and the ITSqc mentor/observer for approximately 5 days).
